About the event

We will be taking a break for the summer months of June, July, and August and continuing our meetings in September with The Ink Dark Moon as translated by Jane Hirshfield and Mariko Aratani. This work has wonderful translations of poetry by Ono no Komachi, a key figure in Japanese literature.

You may find a copy of the book here.

The club is limited to Japan Society of Boston Members. Interested in joining but not yet a Member of the Japan Society of Boston? Consider becoming a member today!

This event is hosted by JSB's Special Events Associate Christopher Ellars.
