Haunting Hands: Artistic Remembrance of Hiroshima in 21st Century Japan

More than 80 years after World War II, only a few hibakusha remain to share their experiences of nuclear survival. This presentation explores how postwar generations, particularly two female Japanese artists, seek to carry forward and reinterpret the memories of Hiroshima.
