Join us for a discussion of Perfect Days (2023), an Academy Award nominee for Best International Feature directed by Wim Wenders and starring Koji Yakusho.
In Perfect Days, Hirayama is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world. (Synopsis from NEON)

The Japan Society of Boston Film Club meets on the last Wednesday of every other month to discuss great classic and contemporary Japanese films.
