About the Event:
From Arrow Street Arts' website:
Asian American Ballet Project’s 3rd annual performance, Receding and Reemerging, weaves together six original ballets that honor ancient folktales, confront painful histories, and unravel the complexities of Asian American identity. With original choreography, live music, and bold new interpretations, AABP offers a powerful artistic response to this moment.
Featuring contributions by 18 Asian American artists, Receding and Reemerging invites audiences to imagine a future where Asian American experiences are not only seen—but celebrated.
