Engineer


Summary

A leading manufacturer of electronic components, specializing in high-precision sensors (such as temperature, pressure, and infrared) and discrete semiconductor devices for the automotive, medical, and consumer electronics industries, is seeking new graduate engineers. The position includes a one-year training program in Japan after hiring, with relocation and housing support provided.


Essential Duties

-Develop innovative sensors that are not yet available in the market

-Transform new ideas into practical applications

-Design sensor products based on customer-specific requirements

-Propose modifications to existing sensors to fulfill client needs

-Create and evaluate functional prototypes

-Prepare technical drawings and perform product testing

-Document test results and provide clear explanations

-Learning CAD software in class is the best, such as

・AutoCAD

・SOLIDWORKS (widely used in the Japanese technology industry)

-Experience with any other CAD software is a plus

-No prior knowledge of thermistors required


Working Hours, Working style

9:00~18:00


Woking Location

Chiba, Japan / Dallas, Texas 


Salary/Benefit

$50,000 + $50/day x 365 days = $68,250

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or a related field

- Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks

- Knowledge of temperature durability is preferred

- Japanese language skills (a plus but not required)
